Dovetail House is My Small World's best selling dolls house.
We make it a point of principle to only stock the best examples of children's toys, and when Tender Leaf showed us their take on the doll's house we were quite simply blown away. Beautiful, soft gender neutral colours which look fantastic in a nursery, working shutters and windows and lots of careful detail everywhere you look, from the plants outside, to the window boxes, to the Christmas Wreath!
The interior has space for 6 room sets, and is beautifully neutral. Any self respecting dolls house player will tell you that it can be very frustrating when a wall has painted detail on it like mirrors or pictures or shelves, as this dictates where you should put your furniture... and we hate that!
Dolls and furniture are sold seperately, so you can fill with your own furniture, or possibly go to town and invest in Tender Leaf's beautiful designer room sets.
Most of all, we feel that a dolls house should be able to be handed down through the generations, and this means that above else material and build quality must be second to none. Our Dovetail has been in the store, at a low level so children can explore it and play, for almost two years and is still as good as new, despite the hundreds of children who have explored and played...

Important to Know:
Dovetail is very beautiful, but is really best suited for children over three. The roof section needs lifting up and off with two hands, and younger children are just too small, or they just haven't developed the motor skills yet to do it. They tend to lift the roof sideways, which breaks the fixings. If you just can't wait (and I don't blame you!) then we suggest removing the roof for playtimes. And if your small homeowner is still popping things in their mouths then we also suggest storing the smaller dollshouse accessories until a later date. Dawn xxx

We do! If you live locally to our shop in Bath, we can deliver the same day by Eco Bike.

Orders received before 1 pm Monday to Friday are sent by Next Day Delivery as Standard. We do not charge extra for this service.
We are unable to deliver on Sundays. Therefore, orders received after 1 pm on Friday and before 1 pm on the following Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
We will contact you as soon as possible if there is a problem with your order or the items you have chosen. This may delay your delivery, but we'll keep you informed every step of the way.

We have no time limit on our returns. We want you to be able to buy gifts in advance and not worry!
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
I'm afraid we can't refund Gift Cards or refund items which are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts.
