She's wearing a rose-gold crown and a dress with lace trim, and she has absolutely no time for mattresses that don't meet her exacting standards. This is the Maileg Princess and the Pea Big Sister Mouse, and honestly, she arrived in the shop and we were a little bit in awe of her. The kind of toy that makes a child go very quiet and then very, very busy.
We love it because:
- She's genuinely beautiful. The rose-gold lace trim, the printed fabric dress, the tiny crown... Maileg just do this so well, and this one is particularly lovely.
- She unlocks the whole fairytale. One small mouse with a crown is all it takes for a full royal drama to unfold on the bedroom floor (complete with royal proclamations and at least one disputed mattress).
- She plays beautifully with other Maileg mice and accessories, so if you're already in the Maileg world, she slots right in. And if you're not... well. Welcome. It's a wonderful place to be.
- Beautifully made from cotton with recycled polyester filling, she's built to be loved for years.

We do! If you live locally to our shop in Bath, we can deliver the same day by Eco Bike.

Orders received before 1 pm Monday to Friday are sent by Next Day Delivery as Standard. We do not charge extra for this service.
We are unable to deliver on Sundays. Therefore, orders received after 1 pm on Friday and before 1 pm on the following Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
We will contact you as soon as possible if there is a problem with your order or the items you have chosen. This may delay your delivery, but we'll keep you informed every step of the way.

We have no time limit on our returns. We want you to be able to buy gifts in advance and not worry!
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
I'm afraid we can't refund Gift Cards or refund items which are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts.
