KIDYMETAL Metal Detector - Green

There is something about handing a child a metal detector and watching them stride off across the beach, absolutely certain they are about to uncover something extraordinary, that is one of the genuinely great parenting moments. The KIDYMETAL is a proper working detector with LED lights, an audible signal, an adjustable arm and its own treasure hunt kit included, so the adventure starts the moment it comes out of the box — and you get to sit quietly nearby and count that as a win.

We love it because:

• A real metal detector that actually works, detecting metal objects between 10 and 15 cm deep, so there's genuine discovery to be had rather than just waving something at the floor
• LED lights AND an audible signal, so the moment of finding something feels properly exciting every single time
• Adjustable telescopic arm and foldable ergonomic handle, meaning it fits children comfortably rather than having them hunched over
• Rechargeable battery via USB-C, no batteries required, long battery life. One less thing to think about on the way out the door
• Comes with a treasure hunt kit: 3 KIDOR pieces to hide and find, plus a pouch to keep them in. Outdoor play ready to go, straight away
• Works on the beach, in the garden, in the park, in the forest. Basically anywhere worth exploring
