Memory Game (40 cards) - Haunted House

We love it because:

• Twenty pairs of Halloween creatures means there is plenty on these cards to delight a small person who is very into all things spooky and gross. Ghosts! Monsters! Things with too many eyes!
• Memory games are genuinely brilliant for concentration, turn-taking and that very specific smugness of flipping a matching pair. Educational, but we won't say that too loudly.
• The cards are a good sturdy size at 8.8cm x 6.5cm, so they're easy to lay out and easy to flip without bending.
• It travels. Stick it in a bag and it works at a restaurant, at Granny's, in a hotel room, or as a very solid answer to "I'm bored" on Halloween night when the trick or treating is done.
• Instructions included in English, French, German and Spanish, which makes it a lovely thing to tuck into a gift for families with overseas relatives too.
