Who are you?. You are an outgoing 'people person' to your core, and find face to face interaction with people the most rewarding part of your day. You find it easy to chat and play. You have a good eye for detail, and experience with young people and families. You love to have fun. You have an artistic flair and love to bring it to work!
What do you need? You have at least three years experience in retail, with some time spent in a leadership role. As a minimum you have English and Maths GCSE at Grade C (level 3/4) or above. Post graduates are very welcome, especially if you have gained a love of retail while studying.
What will you do? You will be responsible for the day to day running of the store, including managing our team, keeping the store in outstanding condition, updating visual merchandising, stock control and replenishment, managing internet orders. You will be responsible for compliance to procedures, processes and policies.
My Small World is an award winning small independent business, founded in 2005. We may be small, but we have a mighty reputation for amazing customer service. We are a dedicated bunch of people who love what we do, have a lot of fun, and are passionate about finding amazing toys from across Europe and introducing them to our brilliant customers.
The first and last thought in our day is how we can make life with small people easier and more fun... and through our store in Bath and our website we aim to spread the joy far and wide.
How we build our team. We have very low staff turnover, because we believe that working together means making sure that our team are happy, valued and get to use their personal skills and passions at work.
