Whilst on his way home with his Nana on the train, Julian sees three women beautifully dressed up, their hair in brilliant hues, their dresses end in fishtails and their joy fills the train carriage! And when Julian gets home, day dreaming of the magic and brilliance he has seen all he can think about is dressing up just like those ladies in his own very fabulous mermaid costume! But what will Nana think about the mess he makes? And even more so, what will she think about how Julian sees himself?

Follow along in this beautiful story of self expression and acceptance as Julian finds his way to truly express how he feels and who he wants to be.
